SAECDTU modus operandi is purely to fight for the rights and the economic efficiency of its members in education. SAECDTU main objective is to impact the education system positively through an equity-based relationship between the employer and our members in order to enhance our GDP and South Africa's economy. SAECDTU leads teachers revolution in our lifetime and to a fix for the future generation of teachers in South Africa.

SAECDTU is a formation by teachers, for teachers, led by the foundation phase practitioners in South Africa. In principle and under legal guidance, SAECDTU matched to the National Department of Basic Education in Tshwane, delivered a 'Dignity Memorandum' on behalf of thousands signed petitioners with more than 400 grievances, in which could potentially result to a possible criminal liability against the teachers for 28 years.
